The announcement of the return to downtown Spa of all Spa Rally participants has clearly drawn attention to the 2022 edition of the Spa Rally, the final round of the Kroon-Oil Belgian Rally Championship which will be held on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December. Organiser DG Sport did not need more incentive to open the registration for its final event of the season.

It must be said, the event has a very attractive schedule: 18 special stages are spread over two days of racing, for a total of 200 kilometres against the clock. As for the VHRS appendix – Yokohama Spa Rally Classic, reserved for the fans of regularity, that will consist out of two loops of 4 RT’s on Saturday, and 4 more on Sunday. That is a total of 130 kilometres to determine the final classification.

The registration fee for the BRC categories has been set at 1750 euros, for crews entering a Rally2 type car, and 1500 euros for all others, including the Historic BRC. Competitors in Junior BRC and those in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup Benelux benefit from a preferential rate of 1,250 euros, compared to 1,100 euros for the teams of the BRC 2WD Trophy.

The registration fee for VHRS 50 (time control indicated in the notes) and VHRS 65 (time control during the RT) will be 750 euros.

Please note that this preferential rate will remain in effect until Friday 4 November. Forewarned is forearmed. The final closing of entries will be on Monday 21 November.
