Ideaal dus om de eerste lus van vier proeven aan te vatten! C\u00e9dric Cherain (Porsche 992 Rally GT) liet de eerste scratch noteren in Fays Show, terwijl Tom Heindrichs (Citro\u00ebn C3 Rally2) vervolgens vriend en vijand verraste door de snelste tijd neer te zetten in Chevron, Trois-Ponts Show en Wanne! De verschillen met de Porsche bleven echter beperkt, waardoor de kloof tussen Heindrichs en Cherain bij de eerste terugkeer naar het assistentiepark slechts 2\u201d2 bedroeg! Dat belooft voor de rest van de wedstrijd, vooral als de weergoden goedgezind blijven\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Achter de twee leiders achtervolgt Tom Rensonnet (26\u201d5) aan het stuur van de Hyundai i20 N Rally2 van Lifelive Motorsport. Hij is sneller onderweg dan de Nederlander Bernhard ten Brinke (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, 31\u201d2), gisterenavond nog de winnaar van de Qualifying Stage, die op zaterdagochtend gokte op slicks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u00e9dric De Cecco (Hyundai i20 N Rally2, 43\u201d9) sluit momenteel de top 5 af, voor Thomas Martens (Citro\u00ebn C3 Rally2, 57\u201d4), die een versnelling hoger zal moeten schakelen. Aan het stuur van de tweede beste Porsche 992 Rally GT slaat John Wartique (58\u201d3) een goed figuur, een handvol seconden voor Romain Delhez (1\u201904\u201d1), die ontdekt dat de 992 Rally GT heel wat verschillen toont met zijn gebruikelijke Porsche 991 GT3. Emile Breittmayer (Citro\u00ebn C3 Rally2, 1\u201905\u201d7), op zoek naar snelheid vanochtend, en Thibaud Mazuin (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, 1\u201906\u201d4) zijn de twee laatste namen in de voorlopige top 10.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pierre Hubin (Renault Clio Rally3) is de leider in RC3 met een puike dertiende plaats in het voorlopige klassement, terwijl de Duitser Colin D\u00fcnker (Ford Fiesta Rally4) iedereen met verstomming slaat in RC4. Hij doet beter dan Lander Depotter (Opel Corsa Rally4), de leider in de Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup Belux.&nbsp;Jo Muyle (Subaru Impreza) leidt de dans in het Youngtimer BRC, Guino Kenis (BMW 325i E30) volgt zijn voorbeeld in het Historic BRC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om 14.20 uur komen de deelnemers langs op het podium in het centrum van Spa, voor ze dezelfde vier proeven een tweede keer afleggen.
