Spa Rally Spa Rally: a spectacular final day!
Three special stages – each capable of proving decisive – to be run twice: that is the schedule for Leg 2 of the 2026 Spa Rally on Sunday, November 29. Once again, organiser DG Sport has meticulously crafted the programme for the final rally day of the year, ensuring that competitors and fans alike head into the winter break – and look ahead to the following season – with nothing but fond memories.
We begin with some excellent news, especially for those who appreciate tradition: the Chevron special stage (14.35 km, SS11–SS14) will once again pass right by the village square! After starting in the Lienne valley, the route takes in a brand-new section in Oufny. It then continues via Neuville toward Chevron and the village square, before following the Lienne valley past Moulin de Rahier. The stage concludes in Xhierfomont, at the top of the hairpin bends – spectacle guaranteed!
The Wanne special stage (12.47 km, SS12–SS15) also runs through the village centre and features a gravel section that is sure to provide plenty of excitement. The first part, along the Chemin des Vaches, is well-known, while the final stretch takes competitors via Logbiermé toward Hénumont – an area that has been featured on the route in every conceivable direction over the years, yet never fails to deliver a great experience.
And what about the Spa special stage (12.30 km, SS13–SS16), which will also serve as the Power Stage? The stage begins in Sasserote, and after the climb toward the jump, it takes the competitors past the famous Sarpay chapel, the Arbespine hairpin, and Balmoral, before concluding at the edge of the Parc de Sept Heures, at the foot of the Côte Annette et Lubin.
This means that, just a few metres past the flying finish, the competitors can fall straight into the arms of their team members and supporters to celebrate their victory! It is hard to imagine a better finish for the Spa Rally.
Once the cars have crossed the finish line of the final stage – marking the conclusion of the event organised by DG Sport – and the results are confirmed, the podium ceremony can begin. This will kick off a celebration likely to last into the early hours of the morning; after all, some traditions simply must be upheld…
