Spa Rally Spa Rally 2026: more authentic than ever
‘In the heart of the country’s most beautiful region’ – so the advertising goes... A concept that perfectly suits the 2026 Spa Rally, organised by the DG Sport teams. Rally enthusiasts and lovers of the Spa area can rest assured: they are in for a treat on November 28 and 29... though they should also expect a few surprises!
True to tradition, Friday is reserved for the Shakedown and the Qualifying Stage. The latter determines the starting order for the cars on Saturday morning.
Saturday sees the bulk of the Spa Rally take place: four special stages, all run twice and the last two run three times. That makes for a total of 10 special stages, which will determine the standings after Leg 1. The day’s menu features Theux, Trois-Ponts, and Stavelot – a fitting tribute to the region's rich rally history.
As in previous editions, participants in the Spa Rally Classic – the final round of the Belgian VHRS championship – will return to Spa after completing two runs of each stage. This ensures that the regularity competitors and the speed rally crews won't get in each other's way on Saturday evening.
The final day of the 2026 rally season, Sunday, November 29, takes competitors to Wanne, Chevron, and... Spa, where the cars will pass at the bottom of the Parc de Sept Heures, at the foot of the Côte d’Annette et Lubin! This gives day-trippers in Spa’s town centre a chance to see the cars in action once more, right near the service park. Two runs are scheduled for each of these stages.
The 2026 finale of the BRC and the VHRS championship is thus entirely in keeping with the major sporting events that have shaped the region in the past. Authenticity is a matter close to DG Sport’s heart – though that doesn’t mean there won’t be a few little surprises to spice up the competition. In short, a rally just the way we like it!
